e-Sword LT: Bible Study to Go App Reviews

Beautiful way of reading commentaries and the different translations.

My go to Bible program. Easy to use, tons of features! I use it for daily devotions, studies with Greek, checking out commentaries and more.

It is the best "cheap" app out there by far. One can always pay $200 and get a better one, if he is willing, I am not. I am very glad that this is here. They are missing ISBE though... (hard to find a good encyclopaedia these days)

This is a great tool for study on the fly. You can quickly switch from text to resources, but a split screen capability would be useful, especially for notes. In the mobile version, only verses can be highlighted, not words or phrases. Also, highlighting options are limited.

This is the only free bible app worth purchasing. You can buy most popular bible translations, commentaries and devotions if needed. The program is very user friendly, common sense and logically laid out. It would be helpful if they included more deuterocanonical/apocryphal writings and early Christian resources like the Didache. As for the resources they do possess I am very impressed and as a young theologian I still use it to this day!

I love having multiple translations and commentaries rate on my phone that all integrate quite well with each other! Especially with my old eyes, this makes Bible reading much easier

This e-Bible is everything I need it to be and more. It is an excellent study tool and a great toy for those hungry to learn!

It is very quick to load up and is easy to navigate. I find it a pleasure to use. I would however like to see an option to use landscape view.

Would be perfect if you could directly search the greek / hebrew word, that you actually found, for further occurences, just by clicking on it. The variety of resources even in german is awesome. Great job!

Over the last few years I found the benefit of referencing bible passages in their original text - Greek in the New Testament and Hebrew in the Old. Understanding words like grace, patience and repentance has opened my understanding and helped me grow spiritually. Thank you eSword for your easy to use app!

Great tool to aid in my study of the WORd

I am really enjoying the esword app. It allows me to do on my phone what I have done on my computer for some years now. A very well-built and intuitive app!! Only thing I would like is if e-sword Lt would allow me to look up other Greek or Hebrew words that are referenced in a Strongs definition, as you can on the computer edition. But for the size of my phone, this app can do amazing things!!
